New platform is better than FTB-500-QTR almost in all parameters: more powerfull CPU, bigger memory, modern OS, less weigth, higher display resolution, USB 3.0 interface.
FTB-4 supports following test modules:

- FTB-7000 and FTBx-700 OTDRs,
- FTB-5230 and 5240 OSA,
- FTB-5500B, 5600, 5700 and 5800 dispersion analyzers,
- FTBx optical switch (coming soon),
- FTB-8805, 8830, 88100, 88200, 8870 and 8880 transport and datacom analyzers.
